= Summary =

    The application discloses your public IP address, platform
information and configuration during checking for updates over HTTP.
Data is only used for statistical purposes for limited amount of
time. No data is used commercially.

= Full Disclosure =

    As of version 2.16.0, the application supports anonymous usage
statistics and automated checking for new versions, opt-in with UI
settings and ability to check for new versions manually. The
information is retrieved over an unsecured HTTP connection.

    During the communication listed above, following information is
disclosed as part of the protocol traffic:

- HTTP:
    - Public IP address of the source (implied).
    - RO OpenSetup version and edition name (explicit, user-agent string).
    - Windows* version and platform (explicit, user-agent string).

    Explicitly disclosed information is used for statistics, that
aid decision-making in futher development of the application. The
life-time of the collected data is limited. Collected data is not
used to identify or contact an individual.

    Custom builds may have further implications on privacy, as
available in their respective privacy policies, if available.
